DRAWING ANIMATIONS
Shot in a makeshift blackout studio in Nottingham, this project was all about creativity on the fly. Once filmed, I pulled everything into Premiere Pro for grading, coloured strobes, and a posterized time effect — giving it that gritty, stylized edge.
Then it was over to After Effects, where I hand-drew each animation frame by frame to bring the visuals to life with a raw, handcrafted feel.
ANIMATED LOGO'S
These hand-drawn logos are simple to create but always pack a punch. They’ve got a raw energy that really stands out — perfect for sitting behind DJs during their sets, adding movement and personality to an otherwise static logo.
SCANNED ITEM ANIMATIONS
These kinds of animations take a lot of time and patience, but the results are always worth it. With the electronic music scene so fixated on 3D visuals, I wanted to go in the complete opposite direction — keeping things raw, hand-made, and personal.
So out came the pen, paper, and scanner, using ourselves as the focal point to create something that feels authentic and refreshingly different.
